The Accueil Vélo brand
It's a real pleasure to get out and about and discover tourist routes by bike...and it's even better when you have the right services for it! That's why the Yvelines Département has been committed to the "Accueil Vélo" initiative since the end of 2012. Cyclists can take it easy on our national routes!
What is Accueil Vélo?
This is a quality label created through the initiative of the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Tourism Committee, with the aim of federating a consistent and identifiable range of services adapted to cycling tourists. Its ownership is now shared with France Vélo Tourisme.
If this national brand resonates with you, that’s normal! It has been tried out on the Loire à vélo route, and has been a great success with users. Today, it can be found in the Yvelines on the Véloscénie from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel, the Avenue Verte London-Paris and La Seine à Vélo from Paris to the sea itineraries.
It involves 4 categories of establishments: accommodation, tourist offices, bike rental and repair outlets, and tourist sites.
The approved facilities are all less than 5km from signposted tourist cycle routes that comply with the national specifications for cycle routes and greenways. Convenient, so you don’t stray from your main route!

The next time you visit our region, you’ll be sure to appreciate our quality-labelled establishments. The Accueil Vélo label is a quality scheme with services tailored to your needs. The welcome is personalised and attentive, you are offered internet access, weather information and real advice on bike routes and sites to visit…your bike will always be parked nearby when you visit and in a secure shelter (covered and closed) for the night. In the accommodation, you’ll find a complete repair kit, a luggage transfer service, bike cleaning equipment and even your laundry! These are just a few examples!
Nearly 80 establishments are already ready to welcome you, and the network is growing all the time!
