Since January 2018, Le Prisme has been writing a new page in its history. This theatre, an emblematic cultural centre of Saint Quentin en Yvelines for several decades, is now managed directly by the City of Elancourt.
A city theatre is a local cultural place accessible to every citizen, attentive to its history but also attentive to its future.
A major axis aimed at families and young audiences will thus be deployed over the coming seasons, through an expanded programme in this sense, but also interactives and one-off formats. The renovation of the bar and restaurant area will also be planned in order to improve the public reception environment.
With the integration of Le Prisme within the Elancourt Cultural Dynamics pole, it is also a way to encourage collaboration with municipal artistic teaching schools which is now possible. Bridges between amateur and professional practices will thus link the paths of students and artists-in-residence.
