This huge sports complex houses a fencing room, two stadiums, an aquatic centre and an equestrian centre.
The Versailles equestrian club (VEC) has a wide range of facilities to ensure that its riders and horses enjoy the best possible surroundings.
The site has four riding arenas: 1 Olympic riding arena measuring 75m x 24m, with mirrors and stands, under a wooden arch and a floor that is renewed every year: "Fontainebleau sand" floor type 00/01 (pro type), polypropylene fibres with automatic watering, 1 covered riding arena measuring 25m x 15m, for double ponies, with stands, 1 covered riding arena measuring 24m x 17m, for shetlands, with stands and 1 covered round arena for ponies.
The club also has two riding arenas: 1 Olympic competition arena measuring 90m x 50m, with a "Fontainebleau sand" floor type 00/01 (pro type), polypropylene fibres and, above all, with a sub-irrigation system, LED night lighting and 1 Forest sand arena with a 50m x 37m section, and in its extension, a 55m x 50m spring garden.
To relax and unwind, the club's students and instructors can enjoy a 20-metre diameter sand ring with their horses, ponies and shetlands, as well as a 16-metre diameter 6-seater walker, fully equipped in rubber.
The site also has three paddocks (20m x 28m; 30m x 10m; 20m x 22m) and direct access to the forest for trotting and forest walks.
Finally, the VEC has several tack rooms, 3 showers, two solariums, a forge, an infirmary with a horse scale and two lorries (2 and 10-seater).
The Jean-Marc Fresnel sports centre is in two parts.
The first, located in the Porchefontaine district on the edge of the forest, comprises a fencing hall and an athletics hall, perfect for bad weather.
The other is a 10-minute drive away, on the Butte de Montbauron, a swimming pool with a 50-metre Olympic-size pool, as well as a stadium with an athletics track.
