Located on the left in the Cour d'Honneur of the Château de Versailles, this area offers art lovers and walkers the chance to make purchases outside the tour of the Château.

This 200 m² bookshop, in the form of a flat with a succession of living spaces, presents a selection of books set off by a meticulous selection of objects celebrating the French art of living (crystal, porcelain, scented candles)...

The Princes' Bookshop also houses the King's cabinet of medals:

The museum's storerooms house a large number of medals that bear witness to the history of Versailles over the centuries. To promote these collections, the Château invited Arthus-Bertrand to delve into its numismatic archives. The workshops created 17 medals reproduced identically or reinterpreted from old engravings.

Each medal and token is made of silvered or gilded bronze, and stamped with a special mark that guarantees the origin and quality of French manufacture.
Thanks to its unique expertise and the meticulous work of its craftsmen, Arthus-Bertrand makes high-quality medals in gold, silver or bronze in France. While the human hand remains its main added value, Arthus-Bertrand can also pride itself on using the best modern manufacturing techniques. Artisan engravers, gem setters and enamellers work on each piece with scrupulous attention to detail.
