After ‘Man, Nature and the City’ in 2019, and ‘Earth and Cities’ in 2022, the Biennial of Architecture and Landscape of the Île-de-France Region returns to Versailles from 7 May to 13 July and continues its reflection with ‘The Living City’.
With a programme of exhibitions in prestigious venues in Versailles, curators with rich and varied backgrounds, conferences, debates and participatory workshops, Bap! will be the major event of 2025. This event will bring together partners with a wide range of expertise: local authorities and associated bodies, national colleges of architecture and landscape, national cultural establishments, planning establishments, giving a voice to professionals in urban planning, construction, housing and landscape, academics, sociologists and artists.
Plunge into the heart of the event with captivating exhibitions exploring the profound link between life and its environment, whether urban or landscape. Among the subjects to be discovered: a new look at the rehabilitation and repair of our cities, an architectural approach inspired by the countries of the South and a focus on the sometimes overlooked benefits of nature. Discover a focus on its first six exhibitions and its pavilion!
