The polar bears have disappeared. Only one remains alive. A Minister of Ecology sends his secretary, Victor Mulot, to find it. Problem: Victor Mulot has never left French territory, the only wild animal he has encountered is a dog, he is allergic to anything hairy and he can't stand the cold. His icy nightmare begins.
After making us run through the Namib desert at over 40°C, Eric Bouvron takes us on his sledge to the other side of the planet, to meet the Inuit, on the pack ice that has become so fragile. It's a journey where tenderness and emotion surprise us with a burst of laughter.
Show followed by a talk at 9.30pm: "The scientific basis of climate change" by Yves Balkanski, a specialist in aerosols and their impact on the climate.
