For the first time ever, a Christmas market is taking place on Place Saint-Louis, in front of Saint-Louis Cathedral in Versailles.
Noël des créateurs (@noelcreateursversaillesstlouis), is being organised on the initiative of Théma Créations, under the aegis of the City of Versailles, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December 2024, on the forecourt of Saint-Louis Cathedral in Versailles.
This first-of-its-kind event is a showcase for talent, local craftsmanship, handmade products and made in France. It brings together over 60 designers in a wide range of fields: fashion and accessories (leather goods, jewellery, hats, knitwear, textile creations, etc.), tableware and decoration (stationery, objects, furniture, ceramics, etc.), family and children (toys, childcare, religious art, etc.), wood and nature (eco-responsible creations, upcycling, wood, sustainable textiles, floral art, etc.), beauty and well-being (soap, natural cosmetics, candles, etc.), etc.
Théma Créations' Noël des créateurs is a festive, family-friendly, inter-generational event right in the heart of Versailles. Whether you're coming as a family, solo, with your cousins, siblings or friends, whether you're from Versailles, the Yvelines or another département, the event is open to everyone.
There's plenty of entertainment for young and old alike, including free creative workshops and choirs. Noël des créateurs takes place at the same time as the shopping day organised by the Saint-Louis district shopkeepers' association.
