Connected tour Buc and Mortimer “S.O.S. Météores!”, the cult comic strip by Edgar P. Jacobs, takes place largely in Buc.
Several vignettes in the album present very realistic views of the city in the 1950s, and many emblematic elements of its heritage can be found there.
In 2011, the City published a book entitled "Buc et Mortimer" which, by following Professor Mortimer's investigation, allows you to discover or rediscover our town and its history, while trying to untangle real places, adaptations and inventions of the author.
Based on the research carried out for this book, and by supporting a project of the 2022 participatory budget proposed by two passionate Bucois (Charly Perrault and Hervé Gremel), the City of Buc has set up this physical and connected route.
Consisting of 12 panels placed in strategic locations in the history of "S.O.S. Météores!", it offers you a virtual extension through QR codes to flash, which refer to this site and 12 videos made by Hervé Gremel.
Let yourself be guided in the footsteps of Mortimer in Buc!
