On 10 and 11 May, the Royal Opera House at the Château de Versailles opens its doors to you for Tous à l'opéra!

During these two exclusive days, visit this exceptional venue free of charge, discover baroque instruments and dance, attend singing auditions for the next session of the Royal Opera Academy, and admire sumptuous stage costumes.

- Wander freely around the auditorium, from the parterre to the colonnade, via the King's box and the underpinnings usually closed to the public.
- Discover atypical Baroque musical instruments in the Opera pit.

Foyer Royal - musical moment :

Attend the audition of singers for the next session of the Royal Opera Academy. The winners will then be engaged on several projects and shows in the musical season of the Opéra Royal and Château de Versailles Spectacles.

Pierre-François Dollé, a specialist in ancient dances and choreographer of the tour-shows ‘Le Parcours du Roi’ and ‘La Sérénade Royale de la Galerie des Glaces’, will be on hand to help you discover the different dances and their characteristics.

Lower vestibule

Be dazzled by the exhibition of sumptuous stage costumes created for the operas staged at the Opéra Royal.
