Inaugurated in 1963, the Golf & Country Club de Fourqueux occupies a superb 75-hectare domain adorned with trees and flowering shrubs.
There are three 9-hole courses to enjoy on a backdrop of beautiful countryside.
In Spring, when the chestnut trees and other species are in flower, the golf course is embalmed with fragrance and gleams with the colourful hues of azalea, lilac, rhododendron and rose.
In Autumn, it blazes with golden gingko, copper-purple sweet gum, scarlet parrotia, red cornel and orange nyssa, which blend with the yellows and browns of other deciduous species.
Added to the visual charm and the delightful smell, is the pleasure of flavour; from spring to autumn, golfers have an array of treats at hand: cherries, quinces, apples, plums, pears, walnuts and hazelnuts.
The Golf & Country Club de Fourqueux also boasts a Pitch & Run practice area that is open to all, a bridge lounge, a pool room and a TV room.
