Near to the Collégiale Notre-Dame, the Musée de l'Hôtel-Dieu offers you the chance to explore the town's medieval past through its collections, as well as the works of post-impressionist artist Maximilien Luce (1858-1941).
A magnificent example of Gothic architecture from the Middle Ages in the Île-de-France region, the building was constructed in the 14th century and underwent major alterations in the 16th and 17th centuries. It houses two permanent collections : works by Maximilien Luce and works evoking the Middle Ages.
The museum also offers a programme of temporary exhibitions based on three themes : world arts and culture, local heritage and contemporary art.
