The Osmothèque is a unique place in the world that collects 4000 fragrances. Its mission is to preserve and to transmit this exceptional heritage and to make the public discover it on the occasion of olfactory conferences.
The Osmotheque is currently closed until further notice and all of the programming is postponed
Its founders have therefore gathered a significant number of formulae and recreated the corresponding perfumes. Having built up the collection, the Osmotheque team regularly offers lectures with themes aimed at all kinds of audiences in its Versailles facilities. It also participates in many national and international events with cultural, scientific, professional and private objectives. Of particular interest is the role it played in re-creating Marie-Antoinette's perfume, as presented at the Versailles palace in 2007.
