Come and get all the details and information!

Discover the Seine, a jewel in the crown of Yvelines

With 80% natural areas, 600 km of waterways including the Seine and 70,000 hectares of woodland, as well as an exceptional heritage surrounding 6 royal cities, the Yvelines, nicknamed “the green lung of the Paris Region”, is ideal for outdoor activities and cultural discoveries. The Yvelines offer 1300 km of signposted walking trails and 850 km of cycle paths in unsuspected natural settings, where the green Seine valley rubs shoulders with state-owned forests and prestigious monuments (châteaux, abbeys, churches, etc.).

As part of the Yvelines Seine plan, the Chemins de Seine are part of the Yvelines General Council’s policy to improve soft mobility, the quality of life of the people of Yvelines and the environment. This is just one of the initiatives undertaken by the Département to revitalise and enhance the economic, tourist and environmental value of the Seine.
